Nile cruise or land tour between Luxor and Aswan?
For the Luxor–Aswan stretch, take the Nile cruise. The temples on that section — Kom Ombo, Edfu and Esna — sit on the riverbank and were built to be approached from the water. A cruise also removes two or three hotel changes, because the accommodation moves while you stay put.
Most comparison pages on the internet refuse to answer, because refusing to answer offends nobody. These give the verdict in the first paragraph and then earn it. Where the honest answer is "both, in this order", that is what it says.
